1. Acceptance

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in (via web form, SMS, phone, written consent, or other method), you expressly consent to receive recurring SMS text messages from Roberts Environmental Control Corp (Roberts HVAC) related to the services described below. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

When you opt in, you may receive messages including, but not limited to:

  • Appointment reminders and confirmations (date/time, confirm/cancel prompts)

  • Technician arrival notices / ETA notifications

  • Service status and work-completion updates

  • Scheduling and rescheduling requests

  • Emergency service alerts and safety communications

  • Employee-to-employee jobsite coordination, parts requests, and internal operational messages (for employees)

  • Billing and account notifications (if previously agreed)

  • Customer satisfaction and follow-up messages

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary depending on your activity and service needs (for example: appointment confirmations, change notices, emergency dispatch). You may receive multiple messages per service event or none if you choose not to opt in.

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. You are responsible for any message or data charges assessed by your carrier.

5. Opt-Out / Stop

You may opt out at any time. To stop receiving SMS messages from Roberts HVAC:

  • Reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from us.
    After you send the STOP request, we will send you a reply to confirm your opt-out. You may continue to receive messages in transit for a short time while your request is processed.

If you want to opt back in at any time, text START to the same number or re-submit consent via the original web form or by contacting us.

To send you SMS messages we may collect:

  • Mobile phone number

  • Your name and contact details (when you provide them)

  • Service address or jobsite address (when needed for scheduling)

  • Communication preferences (including SMS opt-in status)

  • Records of messages sent and your responses

8. Sharing & Third Parties

Roberts HVAC uses trusted service providers (e.g., messaging platforms, appointment systems) to deliver and manage SMS communications. SMS consent and mobile numbers are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. We will only share your mobile number or opt-in information with third parties to the extent necessary to provide the requested service (for example, with a messaging provider to deliver SMS) or as required by law. We do not sell your phone number.

9. Employee-to-Employee Messaging

Roberts HVAC uses SMS internally for employee-to-employee communications (job coordination, parts requests, shift changes, safety alerts). By accepting employment and company communications policies, employees consent to receive these internal messages. Employee numbers and SMS consent are kept private within company systems and are not shared with third parties.
