What This Policy Covers

This policy covers this website only.

It does not cover the Roberts Plan Room or other secure applications hosted at recc.robertshvac.com, which require an invitation or login and are governed separately. It also does not cover information you give us by phone, email, or in the course of a signed project or service agreement.

Information You Give Us

We collect what you type into our forms. Depending on the form, that may include:

• Your name and the company or organization you represent
• Email address and phone number
• Site or project location
• The nature of your request — service issue, system type, project scope, timeline, or whether the request is an emergency
• Whether you consented to receive text messages
• Anything else you choose to write in the message field

Do not send confidential, medical, or payment card information through this website. Our forms are not intended for it and are not secured for it.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit, our analytics receive standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP. This is used in aggregate to understand traffic and improve the site.

We do not use this website to build advertising profiles, and we do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on it.

Service Providers Who Process Your Information

We use a small number of third parties to run this website. Each receives only what it needs:

• Google Analytics — website traffic measurement, using cookies as described below.
• Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on the site; your IP address is visible to Google when fonts load.
• Cloudflare — hosts and delivers this website and processes request data for security and performance.

These providers act on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Website Forms and Résumés

Forms on this site submit directly to Roberts' own systems. Your submission is recorded in our customer records and emailed to the Roberts team who handle that kind of request — Sales for service, estimate and general inquiries, and our hiring team for careers applications. No third-party form service is involved.

If you attach a résumé to a careers application, it is stored on Roberts systems with your application and shared only with the Roberts people involved in hiring for that role. We accept PDF and Word files up to 5 MB. Please do not include a Social Security number, date of birth, or other sensitive personal details on a résumé sent through this site — we do not need them to consider you, and this form is not the right place for them.

We delete the résumé file itself 60 days after you send it. Your application record — your name, contact details, the role and region you applied for, and anything you wrote to us — is kept in our hiring records after that, so we can show what was received and how it was handled, and so we can contact you if something opens up. If you would like your application removed as well, contact us and we will do so.

Cookies and Analytics

This site sets cookies through Google Analytics to distinguish visitors and measure how pages are used. It does not set advertising cookies.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking cookies does not affect your ability to use this site or to contact us.

Text Messages (SMS)

We send text messages only to people who ask for them. If you check the SMS consent box on a form, or give consent by phone, in writing, or by texting us, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Roberts about the service or project you contacted us about — for example appointment confirmations, technician arrival notices, and scheduling follow-up.

• Message frequency varies and depends on the activity on your job or service call.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help, or call 708-429-7700.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving service from Roberts. We do not sell or rent mobile numbers, and we do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing. Numbers are shared only with the messaging provider that delivers the message on our behalf.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to service calls, estimate requests, and general inquiries
• Schedule and coordinate work, and follow up on it
• Prepare proposals and pricing
• Keep records of what was requested and what we did
• Maintain and improve the website and keep it secure
• Meet legal, tax, insurance, and contractual obligations

When We Share Information

We share your information only in these situations:

• With the service providers listed above, to operate the site and communicate with you
• With subcontractors, suppliers, or manufacturers where necessary to carry out the work you asked for
• With our insurers, auditors, and professional advisors
• Where required by law, subpoena, or to establish or defend a legal claim
• In connection with a sale or transfer of all or part of the business

We do not sell your personal information.

How Long We Keep It

Website inquiries are retained while we are in contact with you and afterwards in our business records, so that we can show what was requested and what was quoted or performed.

Careers applications: the résumé file is deleted automatically 60 days after it is received; the application record is kept in our hiring records.

Records connected to a project, service call, warranty, or contract are kept for the longer of the applicable warranty, insurance, and statutory retention periods. Analytics data is retained on the schedule set in our analytics account. If you would like your inquiry removed, contact us and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS, and access to the inbox that receives form submissions is restricted to Roberts staff who need it.

No website or email system is perfectly secure. Please do not use this site to transmit sensitive personal information.

Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you from this website
• Correct it if it is wrong
• Delete it, where we are not required to keep it
• Stop contacting you, or stop sending text messages

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law — including the right to know, delete, correct, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We honor these requests regardless of your state of residence. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.

Children’s Privacy

This website is directed to commercial and institutional customers, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

This site links to other websites, including buildwithroberts.com, our Plan Room at recc.robertshvac.com, and our social media pages. Once you leave this site, this policy no longer applies, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted here.
